Providing Hope in the Storm

With your help, we can unleash the resources needed to better serve the at-risk rural communities we serve.

DONATE NOW, March 19, 2020

We are hearing from our partners from the field as nation after nation is now moving into more extreme measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. The coming days and weeks hold a lot of unknowns. People, both here and abroad, range from being inconvenienced to being crippled with fear. Wherever you find yourself on that spectrum, we are praying you sense God’s peace in the midst of this storm.

Those with very few resources, our international partners in Ethiopia, South Sudan, Uganda, and Myanmar, are crying out for our prayers and for help. Fortunately, we have leadership in place to help in prayer, encouragement, food and medical care. Would you add them and our ground teams to your prayer list? Would you consider helping to purchase food and medical supplies during this crisis? With your help, we can unleash the resources needed to better serve these at-risk rural communities, which includes the women and children in our Women’s Empowerment and Child Sponsorship programs and Petros Network church planters on the field.

We already know in advance that this virus will not last. It’s a storm that we will walk through, and with your help, we’re going to walk through it together.

“But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear Him, on those whose HOPE is in His unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.”
PSALM 33:18-19

This could truly be our finest hour as we share the love of Jesus and offer HOPE in such tangible ways. Thank you for extending your kindness to the hurting in Jesus’ name.

Stay tuned for updates on Petros Network’s response to the Coronavirus in the areas we serve at petrosnetwork.org/blog.
